Ayla Novruz is a doctoral student studying Clinical and Behavioral Medicine psychology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Her passion lies in the realm of neuropsychological assessment, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing a spectrum of complex medical, neurodevelopmental, and psychiatric differences. Ayla is committed to delivering culturally sensitive, evidence-based, and strengths-oriented strategies. Ayla conducts thorough assessments using evidence-based neuropsychological, intellectual, cognitive, socio-emotional, and educational measures. She tailors personalized recommendations that cater to both specific needs and vulnerabilities, drawing from a comprehensive understanding built through detailed history reviews, clinical interviews, and individualized testing protocols. Ayla adopts a holistic approach, focusing on the individual’s strengths to address their vulnerabilities. Throughout the testing process, she actively cultivates a positive therapeutic connection with each client. This bond enables her to leverage her observations and insights within the testing environment to reinforce her assessments. Ayla’s clientele spans across all age groups, and she operates under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Carla Corsey.
