WBMA, LLC’s SOAR Program for Psychotherapy and Testing is currently enrolling the following telehealth groups. Groups meet weekly and include a maximum of 5 or 6 members. To enroll, please contact hello@wbma.cc

Social-Emotional Regulation Groups – Mondays 4:30 & 5:30 PM (5th & 6th grade)

with Dr. Jaclyn Halpern

Participants will explore emotional regulation, stress management, and social skills techniques to manage anxiety, sadness, and anger, improve relationships, and navigate life’s pressures

Art Therapy Group 

Tween (Ages 11-14): Tuesday 5pm
Teen (Ages 16-18): Wednesday 5pm
College Young Adult (Ages 18-24): Friday 5pm

Create!-Connect! Art Therapy Groups are “Open Studio Style” virtual therapeutic support groups in which participants create art work together to encourage self expression, contain feelings, reduce anxiety, and connect with peers. This all takes place in a safe, therapeutic environment facilitated by licensed Art Therapist, Anna L. Mills.

Each group will meet weekly to engage in a therapeutic art technique. The art pieces will be used to promote conversation between group participants.

Participants should meet out-patient qualifications and will be required to complete an intake prior to registration. $75/1 hour weekly, for commitment of 6 weeks.

Tween Social Group – Time TBD (6th through 8th grade)

A group for tweens navigating the highs and lows of middle school, and evolving from children into teenagers. Members will connect to share experiences, support each other in addressing challenges, and get to know new friends!

LGBTQQIA+ Young Adult Group – Time TBD (Ages 18 post-High School through 22)

with Jeanni Jensen, MA, LCPC

A group for individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, nonbinary, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, questioning identity, or as allies to this community. Members will connect to share experiences, practice resilience, develop our best selves, and belong. The group will also help participants navigate emerging adulthood. Members will support each other in establishing independence related to changes in living arrangements, work, school, relationships, and making decisions for the future.

Teen Art Therapy All Female Group – Saturday 11:00 AM-12:00 PM (Ages 16-18)

Participants will utilize Art Therapy and Mindfulness for emotional recognition and regulation, self-expression, confidence building, and stress management.

College Student Mindfulness Support Group Mondays 2:30-3:30 PM

with Jeanni Jensen, MA, LCPC

College students will chat and use mindfulness techniques to help them navigate being away from college friends, transitioning back to family life, and dealing with uncertainty about the future. This is a sliding scale support group.

Young Adult Group – Time TBD (Ages 18 post-High School through 22)

A group for individuals navigating the transition out of high school and into emerging adulthood. Members will support each other in establishing a more independent life: changes in living arrangements, work, school, relationships, and making decisions for the future.

Post-IOP Group – Time TBD (Adults 18+ post-High School)

with Jeanni Jensen, MA, LCPC

 A group for individuals who have recently completed an IOP (intensive outpatient) or PHP (partial hospital) program (either following inpatient stay, or independently.) Members will focus on supporting each other in maintaining stability, enhancing wellness, and thriving in everyday life. Prerequisite: Each member must also be seeing own individual therapist; must not be current active safety risk (e.g., needing higher level of care)
