Neuromodulation

Our non-invasive neuromodulation services aim to modify brain activity through the targeted delivery of a magnetic pulse or small current. These therapies work by modulating abnormal brain circuits that cause symptoms and disease. These expanding forms of the therapy can help reestablish brain balance; similar to the way a cardiac pacemaker or defibrillator corrects heartbeat abnormalities. Neuromodulation therapies have been in use for decades. There are a number of scientific studies suggesting symptom improvement in treatment-resistant depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, smoking cessation and other substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, Tourette’s disorder, Parkinson’s disease, chronic pain, etc. Neuromodulation therapy may be considered as an addition to other treatment options when symptoms do not adequately resolve with current measures, or if existing drugs are ineffective or long-term use poses the risk of addiction, adverse effects or toxicity. While neuromodulation therapies are not a cure for any underlying condition, they provide an additional means of managing symptoms of chronic conditions. Overall, neuromodulation therapies have become an integral tool for healthcare professionals since first becoming available in the 1960s.

Let's get started.
