Samuel Intrater, MSW Candidate

Sam is currently in his Advanced Year in the MSW program at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. In his Foundation Year, he worked on the Knowledge Management Team at SEEC, where he led a discussion-based seminar called “Guy’s Group” in which male-identifying individuals with developmental disabilities could discuss the unique challenges that they face in a safe and nonjudgmental setting. Sam’s background in education has given him patience, confidence, and experience in helping others identify and overcome the obstacles in the way of achieving their goals. After completing his MSW, Sam plans to pursue his LCSW-C and build a career in private practice therapy.
