Rachel brings years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and schools to WBMA. She has diverse training experiences, including approaches in trauma, attachment, parent-child relationship engagement, and play-based techniques.
Rachel strives to create strong connections with her clients and their families, working with children and adolescents (ages 4-18), as well as parents, using a relational and supportive approach to therapy.
Qualifications
Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland. She received her BA in Psychology from Binghamton University and her MSW from Catholic University. For more on Rachel, you can check out her full bio here.

How do you enjoy spending your free time?
I love to go for walks with my two dogs! I also enjoy playing with my son and going to the swimming pool during summertime!
Where is the coolest place you’ve visited?
I really enjoyed visiting Barcelona, Spain. The food there is incredible, and there are lots of amazing views and beautiful beaches.
If you could choose to have any superpower, what would you choose?
I would choose the ability to snap my fingers and magically end up anywhere I wanted. I would instantly go to the beach!
What is something on your bucket list?
To continue traveling and exploring the world!
If you could live in any fictional world, which would you choose?
The Harry Potter World, and hopefully, I would be a Hufflepuff!
What was your favorite class in school?
Art! I also took a photography elective for a few years and really enjoyed those classes as well!
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I really enjoy getting the chance to witness a child’s inner world and help empower them to have their voice heard through play!
