Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects that support the growth and operational efficiency of WBMA. This role involves coordinating with clinical staff, administrative teams, and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The Project Manager will also play a key role in implementing new programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and expanding the practice’s services.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Execution & Monitoring:
- Lead the execution of projects, ensuring all milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Monitor project performance and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all projects adhere to the highest standards of quality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and external partners.
- Provide regular updates on project status, addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
- Facilitate communication between teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure that all projects comply with relevant healthcare regulations and WBMA’s internal policies.
- Conduct project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk logs.
- Prepare and present project reports to the executive team and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the healthcare or mental health sectors.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
